MEMPHIS TN (IFS)-- The View has long been the king of the 10 O'clock slot for over fifteen years now. But coming up slow and steady and breathing down the View's neck is the long shot Wendy Williams Show. Wendy over the past several years has been moving up the viewers ladder to numbers now in the double digits.
The success of her show is that she is the only voice, where the "Views" many voices starts to cancel out each other and lots of "traffic" issues plug up the information that is being given.
Williams an ex- Radio DJ and personality has made her transition to television in a big way. Williams' guest appearance on "Dancing With The Stars" place her in the national lime light. She has always made her show a friendly place, with very little surprises, and on one occasion, she has made a live guest appearance on the View while taping her own show.
Williams guests and information relay systems are personal and one-on-one. The overall success of the show is about more time spend on the subject matter and not chasing the clock.
