Here's The Riot is the pseudonym of singer / song writer Paris Tompkins. Originally from Houston he moved to Los Angeles at the age of 17 to pursue his love of music. He formed the band Slamhound with singer Josh Todd of Buckcherry, playing guitar and singing back up.

Paris was the front man of the band Church of Mars and later made gothic / dark wave music under the name Paris Grim. His musical inspirations are guitar rock bands like Alice In Chains, Nirvana, and Guns N Roses. Here's The Riot has allowed Paris to go back to his rock n roll roots writing about love, hope, anger, freedom, alienation, heartbreak, and being human.

Paris wrote the music for comedian and close friend Tig Notaro's HBO special and has the hit song Love Makes Me Crazy featured on the hit tv show One Mississippi.
