Lord Conrad - Touch The Sky new music single Trailer

Italian model turns to music with new single ‘Touch – The Sky’

MILAN, ITALY – Lord Conrad is a hot new musician out of Italy whose artistic philosophy reflects his own sweet, altruistic and sensitive character. He believes people should focus on spr

“I love helping and listening to others,” he said. “I think that every single person has the potential to achieve great things. No matter what your social, sexual or religious affiliation is – or any other status – we’re all gonna’ make it. Just be yourself and follow your passion and push it to the limit.”

Lord Conrad’s new single, “Touch – The Sky,” is a tribute to that artistic philosophy. He said the song comes from his honesty and the admiration he has for people with high character and
who put in hard work. He said the single is a never-done-before “sonorous experiment,” a mix between trance, dance and EDM electronic music that features heavy beats with melodic stabs of electronic piano while showcasing his vocal skills.

“Of course, the lyrics capture my sweet, eccentric, positive, lavish lifestyle perfectly,” he said. “On enthusiastic listener stated: ‘This is a masterpiece of musical art.’ And ‘Lord Conrad’s new
music is a perfect combination of a two-time speed new generation lifestyle.’”

Prior to releasing this single, Lord Conrad has been modeling, dancing and doing public relations events at clubs throughout Milan – the world fashion capital – for the past 10 years. It was through those experiences that he said he developed a passion for music – to the point that he wanted to show the world his feelings in a way of sending positive messages to the world. He said that he chose music because it’s a good way to express oneself while encouraging others who listen to the music to embrace the positive messages he’s sending out.

“I had this burning feeling inside of me to show my feelings and get messages out to the world,” he said. “I do have a lavish lifestyle, and my mixed personality is both sweet and eccentric. That’s why I chose the name Lord Conrad, because it sounds like a powerful name for a powerful charismatic personality.”

A music video for the single “Touch – The Sky” will be shot in Rome and should be available for release later this month on Lord Conrad’s YouTube channel. The concept for the video is a short-film featuring he and his girlfriend in a plot that sees her kidnapped by a gang of “sexy girls,” who he has to fight to get her back.

“There will be car chases, guns, action, sexy outfits, muscle cars of the 1970s and 80s and much more,” he said. “yes, you’ll see a man fighting a gang of girls. We’ll risk it all in this video by trying to do something original.”

Tyler Yarema and His Rhythm

Artist: Tyler Yarema and His Rhythm
Title: Gotta Bran' New Suit
Label: Radioland
Genre(s): Jump Blues / Swing Jazz
Producers: Bill King & Jeff Healey
Jeff Healey on Trumpet / Co-Producer

I got a call from long-time music champion and musician Terry Wilkins, asking if I’d photograph a recording session going on at Rogue Music Lab – a warehouse style set-up with newcomer – piano/vocalist Tyler Yarema – music giant Jeff Healey and Tyler’s rhythm section – Jesse Barksdale guitar, Mike Carson bass and Bob Vesperanzi drums.

The whole scene was a down to the basics session. An old upright piano that sounded as if it had been hauled from a 1930’s brothel stood amongst an odd assortment of collectables, shaded lamps, umbrellas, ashtrays, dishes and miles of cable. There was no separation just the sound off the floor. What ended up on tape was a mix of old school barrelhouse, a bit of Jerry Lee Lewis, a steaming horn section with Healey giving adding best Joe Oliver/Louis Armstrong trumpet embellishment. Half-way through the project, Wilkins invites me to co-produce and that’s when the fun began. How do you mix sound that comes from all directions; cars in transit, rumbling streetcars, buses, and clacking heat radiators? I just kept in mind – give it lots of punch and pop and clarity; after that – let the God’s tip their hats.

Currently, Tyler is rockin’ a twenty-year residency at Toronto’s Reservoir Lounge with his band.

Acoustic piano/vocals – Tyler Yarema
Guitar – Jesse Barksdale
Bass – Mike Carson
Trumpet – Jeff Healey
Baritone Saxophone- Chris Gale
Background vocals – Terry Wilkins.

Producers: Terry Wilkins, Bill King, Jeff Healey

Recorded at Rogue Music Lab with engineer James Paul - Toronto

ALOHA

Retired and loving it. I didn't start playing music until I was 30yrs old. Now at 70 I have enough time to persue the things I love to do. My day usually starts with a walk on the beach with my wife.

Then fiishes with evening at the beach. Most times, weather permitting, I'll play the music I love. Prior to moving to Hawaii I played with a jazz group on the mainland.

After moving to the islands I fell in love with the older Hawiian music. Since I play the sax it was a natural for me to start playing the beautiful older Hawaiian songs.

This was a challenge as there are very few sax players who have attempted to play Hawaiian music. My love for jazz leaked over into my desire to play Hawaiian.

The blend has led to a special approach to Hawaiian music and is especially appropriate played at sunset on the beach. A great way to finish the Day.
